Action/Indications
Allows for faster recovery in horses after exercise, by decreasing the severity of muscle cramping due to lactic acid build up in horses.

Branch chain amino acids (BCAA) cannot be synthesized by the body and research studies have shown that they play an important role in muscle recovery after exercise.

Following heavy exercise, BCAA levels in the bloodstream are reduced to the point where the body needs to breakdown muscle and degrade liver protein to supply more BCAA for the body to use.

When horses are given VETSENSE BCAA Paste within 30 minutes after strenuous work, the body will use these added BCAA in the bloodstream first. This reduces the need to use muscle and liver proteins.

Each 60mL contains;
I-Valine 9.0g
I-Leucine 6.6g
I-Isoleucine 3.3g
Carnitine 480.0mg
Glutamine 600.0mg
Vitamin B6 600.0mg
In aniseed flavoured base

Directions for Use
AFTER HEAVY WORK: 60mL (full syringe) within 30 minutes after exercise

For known cases of Tying Up, we recommend administering two doses, give 60mL 30-60 minutes before exercise and the same again within 30 minutes after exercise.
